Caroline has spent most of her life in and around the Cotswolds and was fortunate enough to be educated at Chipping Campden School and at Cheltenham College of Art and Design where she did a Foundation Year followed by a Fine Art Degree Course.
Since then Caroline has juggled marriage, four children and a variety of part time jobs that all required an artistic bent. Only in the past few years has she been able to concentrate fully on her art work which she finds enormously fulfilling and exciting. Caroline uses a variety of media and likes to capture colour, light and movement within a variety of subjects. She loves the undulating landscape surrounding the Cotswolds and the mellow stone of the buildings but she is not afraid of approaching these subjects in an unorthodox way. Caroline also enjoys painting animals – their movement and expressions she finds particularly demanding. |
